Karl Vercouteren, of The Dalles, Ore., was recently named The Dalles' "Volunteer of the Year" for 20 years as the Kiwanis Club Parade organizer and for his work with Habitat For Humanity and local history, music and religious organizations.
1965
Jack Lechler, of Kiel, is running as an independent for state assemblyman in the 27th District.
1973
Stanford Zoller, of Buffalo Grove, Ill., has been elected vice president of the Illinois Journalism Education Association. Zoller, a Master Journalism Educator certified by the Journalism Education Association, teaches journalism and English at Rolling Meadows (Ill.) High School, where he also advises The Pacer, the school's award-winning newspaper. He is also vice president of the Kettle Moraine Press Association based at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
1977
Debra Lee Gander, of Littelton, Col., was elected president of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology for 2010. Gander maintains a practice with emphasis in imaging for dental implants at Colorado OMF Imaging in Greenwood Village, Col. She regularly shares her knowledge on advanced imaging with organizations and study clubs locally and nationally.
1983
Andrew Smith, of Neenah, is completing his studies for ordination in the United Independent Catholic Church. A late fall ordination is planned.
Diane (Whaley) Klein, of Rochester, Minn., is a senior research technologist at Mayo Medical Center.
1984
David Wegener, of Germantown, has been named vice president for enrollment services at Mount Mary College in Milwaukee. Wegener will manage the enrollment process for Mount Mary's undergraduate and graduate programs, and the accelerated and continuing education divisions. He is a doctoral candidate at Cardinal Stritch in Leadership, Learning and Service with his dissertation focusing on college enrollment.

Jeff Sauer, of Waupun, was recently hired as principal of Colby High School in Colby, Wis.
1992
Dale Hyska, of Brillion, Wis., married Julie Pauwels on July 10, 2010, at Heritage Hill State Historical Park in Allouez. The couple resides in Brillion.
1993
Pattie (Gawel) Bolek, of Naperville, Ill., is a part-time nurse and a full-time mom to two children. She is also a "Mommy Blogger" blogging about special needs and special education. Pattie invites you to visit her blog at http://TheirWordsTheirWay.blogspot.com.
1994
Tammy (Jetzer) Holtz, of Sheboygan, recently received her master of science degree in educational technology from Marian University. Tammy is currently employed as a kindergarten teacher at Lake Country Academy.
Michael Potts was named president and chief operating officer at Orion Energy Systems Inc., Manitowoc, in July. He will manage the day-to-day operations of Orion. Potts has served most recently as Orion's executive vice president, building on a more than 20-year career in energy management. Potts is a recognized expert in energy issues, and has often testified before state and federal regulatory bodies regarding energy-related issues. In addition, Potts has been active in many government and civic organizations dealing with energy issues in various capacities. Potts joined Orion in 2001, previously working for Kohler Co.
1995
Darcy Lindelof Johnson, of Cedar Grove, graduated from DeVry University's Keller Graduate School with a master of business administration with distinction this past February. She is controller and human resources manager at Matrix Packaging Machinery in Saukville, and serves on the board of directors of Lakeshore Productions, Inc. of Random Lake.
1996
Wade Rickmeier retired in June after teaching 33 years at Valders High School. He was a physical education teacher and coach. He has been hired as the offensive line coach at Sheboygan North High School and plans to be a substitute teacher in Sheboygan.
1997
Becky Nystrom, of Geneseo, Ill., returned to ministry part-time on June 1 as the youth leader at First Congregational U.C.C. in Geneseo.
1998
Karmen Lemke, of Wrightstown, received the 2010 Distinguished Alumni Award presented by Northeast Wisconsin Technical College's Alumni Association.
David Munoz has accepted a position as principal at Menomonie High School in Menomonie, Wis.
1999
Jennifer (Dippel) Borth, of Plymouth, and her husband, Roger, welcomed a son, Joseph (Joey) Martin Borth, on March 3, 2010.
2000
Deanne (Hauch) Landvatter married Timothy Landvatter on April 3, 2010. Britanni (Jaeckel) Meinnert MBA '10 married Nate Meinnert on Oct. 31, 2009. The couple resides in Sheboygan.
2002
Shawn Baumhardt's tavern, Bummy's Haus in Howards Grove, recently celebrated its four-year anniversary on Aug. 1, 2010.
2003
James Hayes, of Detroit, Mich., and his wife, Taenesha, celebrated their first anniversary on September 5. The couple's son, Julian Carter Hayes, was born June 21, 2010.
Pa Lee Moua, of Appleton, received Fox Valley Technical College's 2010 Outstanding Alumni Award. Moua is assistant dean of students for multicultural affairs at Lawrence University.
2004
Scott Schneider, of Two Rivers, was promoted to fire chief for the Two Rivers Fire Department. Schneider, a 21-year veteran of the department, is responsible for the administration of the department including supervisory and technical aspects in planning, implementing fire protection and suppression efforts and providing emergency medical services.
2006
John Campbell IV was appointed Marine Safety Officer for USCG Auxiliary Flotilla 31 in Richmond, Va., this past April. In June, he was elected as the Eastern Region Director for the TAG National Board (The Advisory Group, Inc. for Diebold members).
Lisa Kallas, of Winneconne, Wis., was recently hired as business manager for Steinhilber, Swanson, Mares, Marone & McDermott of Oshkosh. Kallas is responsible for human resources, marketing, facilities management and finance.
2007
Heather Groh, of Elkhart Lake, will marry Rich Porath on Nov. 6, 2010. Groh was recently hired as a first grade teacher at Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah Elementary School.
Sarah (Paluch) Vervoren, of Oconto Falls, married Trevor Vervoren on Sept. 11, 2010.
Michael Jarosinski and Danielle Ristow, of Sheboygan, are engaged. The couple is planning a June 2011 wedding.
2008
Jennifer (Graff) Wray, of Pewaukee, and Chris Wray `09 were married on Aug. 7, 2010. Chris is teaching seventh and eighth grade math at St. John's Northwestern Military Academy in Delafield.
Dawn Dohr, of Elkhart Lake, is a licensed professional counselor at Children's Services Society of Wisconsin.
Jason Bins, of Green Bay, was recently hired as the varsity football coach at Freedom High School in Freedom, Wis.
2009
Rose Dorcey, of Oshkosh, was named the 2010 Wisconsin Aviation Person of the Year by the Wisconsin Airport Management Association. She currently serves as president of the Wisconsin Aviation Hall of Fame.
Crystal (Peltier) Schoen, of Stevens Point, married Neil Schoen `10 on July 24, 2010. Crystal is a fire controlman in the U.S. Navy.
2010
Katie Sternweis, of Chippewa Falls, has been hired as the new UW-Extension agriculture agent in Dunn County. Sternweis specializes in agricultural economic and business development.
Katie (Sixel) Schueppert, of Green Bay, married Rocky Schueppert on May 6, 2010.
