Lakeland students to celebrate international flavors

Numerous dishes from around the world will be on the menu when Lakeland College's Global Student Association hosts its annual International Food Festival on Saturday, Nov. 17.

International students attending Lakeland will be cooking traditional foods from their respective countries. This year's festival will feature dishes from more than 15 countries. Students will also be doing some native performances to entertain guests during dinner.

The event is at 6 p.m. in Bossard Hall in the Younger Family Campus Center on Lakeland's main campus in Sheboygan County.

Admission to the festival is $5 per person, which can be paid at the door. The goal of the event is for these students to share some of their culture with the community.
