Hey got to the hotel in Virginia! I met a kid at the airport from Concordia Wisconsin and then when we landed in Charlotte, N.C. I met a bunch more guys who will be playing in the game and we all had the same flight. Once we got to the airport we all got in van and come to the hotel. After checking in we got Subway and now we're going to throw the ball around.

After check in today we broke into two teams-Team North which I play for and Team South! We then all ate dinner and then had a team meeting and got to know everyone. Then we broke into our own teams and went over what we will be doing as a tea,, and also spend time getting to know the guys on our team. We then broke into offense and defense and put plays in. After all that the two teams came back together and we met the guy, George St. Lawrence, that put this game together. After that we had then night to ourselves. Me and a few guys from New York and Virginia went and got wings in town and got to know each other.

Today we had practice in the morning and got to see the stadium that I'll be playing in and got to get into the locker rooms. After all that we went through our warm-ups and had a practice. We then came back to the hotel for team lunch and some down time. We then had practice again, just a "clean-up" practice, and went over what we will be doing in the game. After practice we had our banquet and got our jerseys! After that we all came back to the hotel to get our team socks, team pants and belts. It's been great out here-the guys are great and so are the players! I would tell everyone to play this game if they have the chance, there are friendships and memories that you'll never forget! And I want say thank you to the Lakeland athletics for supporting me for the game. Thank you, and I'm grateful for all the opportunities Lakeland has provided me!

Friday, December 7th
Friday morning game day! I wake up at 9 a.m. for a nice hot shower. After that the team heads to the field for a walk through practice with our game jerseys on so we can brush up on our game plan. We head back to the hotel after practice for lunch and and they brought in Subway for us. After lunch we had a few hours of down time so we could rest and get our minds ready for the game. I woke up around 4 p.m., got my Lakeland travel suit on and met up with the team in the hotel lobby. We headed over to the field as a team and once we got there we had a time to get taped up and I joined both teams for a prayer section. I then finished getting taped and headed to the field to get warm. Kickoff was at 7 p.m. At halftime we added a few more defensive plays. I finished the game with seven tackles and one sack! I had a great time playing with all the guys and I'm happy with how my last college game went! I have no regrets and I left it all on the field!!
