Weber receives Scholar All-American honors

Lakeland College wrestler Matt Weber (So.-Lockport, Ill.) has been named a Scholar All-American for the 2012-13 season and school year by the Division III Wrestling Coaches' Association.

Weber, a criminal justice major, was one of 107 individuals to receive the award nationally. It is the second straight year Lakeland has had a wrestler selected to the team, as Weber joins former teammate Robby Frias as Muskies to win the award.

Weber finished with a 26-17 record this season at 157 lbs. and represented the Muskies well at the NCAA Division III West Regionals in Minneapolis, finishing fifth in his weight class.
