Humanities
The central role of the Humanities Division in Lakeland's
curriculum is to transmit the Western cultural heritage, in both its historical
and contemporary forms, to each new generation of students. Programs in
this area make it possible for students to confront the central issues
of cultural identity and the dilemmas of life which intrigue the members
of all the varied cultures of our globe.
