Jeff Schwehm brings a truly student-centered approach to his work, both in and out of the classroom. Dr. Schwehm fosters student exploration and learning by serving as a mentor to several students working in the Lakeland Undergraduate Research Experience program, which he co-founded. Several of his students have presented their research at regional and national gatherings, including American Chemical Society Meetings and at The Argonne National Laboratory Undergraduate Symposium. He serves as Lakeland's Faculty Athletic Representative and is a fixture at many of the college's athletic contests.
