get your nursing degree at Lakeland College

Nurses are in high demand. Technological advancements, an increased emphasis on preventative care and retiring baby-boomers who will demand more healthcare services as they live longer and more active lives is sparking a massive call for registered nurses.

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, more than 700,000 nursing positions will need to be filled in the next 10 years, a 26 percent increase in the field.

To answer that need, Lakeland College has partnered with the Columbia College of Nursing in Milwaukee to offer a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree.

Students interested in obtaining the degree will receive two years of instruction at Lakeland College — including classes in human anatomy & physiology, chemistry, microbiology, pre-calculus; followed by two years of in-depth classroom and field instruction at the Columbia College of Nursing.

Once completed, you'll be able to enter this exciting field as a registered nurse, where the median pay is $64,690 a year*.
