Facilities

You'll find attractive practice and performing facilities at Lakeland, including Wenger practice rooms, a Yamaha MLC-100 keyboard lab equipped with 11 CLP-240 Clavinovas, a computer lab for music composition and large band and choir rehearsal rooms. The attractive 500-seat Bradley Theatre with a Yamaha CFIII-S concert grand piano is the centerpiece of performances on campus.

Choir

There's a long history of choral excellence at Lakeland College. You'll find the training and experiences needed to prepare you for success as a choral performer, composer, scholar and teacher.

Band

Lakeland offers an excellent performance environment for instrumental students. Musicianship, technique and professionalism are coached by Lakeland's talented and experienced music faculty.

Piano

Piano students will find individualized attention and inviting opportunities to develop technical expertise and knowledge. Lakeland's tailored piano instruction prepares students for many careers according to their varied interests and aptitudes including private or classroom teaching, professional accompanying, church music and performance.

Theatre

At Lakeland you'll find more opportunities to play major roles in yearly performances than at larger schools. You'll study acting and stagecraft, and you'll have opportunities to follow your passion and serve as designer, crew chief, assistant director, assistant choreographer, stage manager or fight captain.
