Calvin O'Neal, a sophomore on the Lakeland College wrestling team competing at 174 pounds, has been named Lake Michigan Conference Wrestler of the Week.
The Sterling Heights, Mich., native helped the Muskies improve to 2-2 on the season as he defeated UW-Oshkosh junior Adam Dorner, 7-5. The Muskies went on to defeat UW-Oshkosh, 30-10, giving head coach Pete Rogers his second-ever victory over a state school in as many matches.
The Muskies compete at Whitewater on Nov. 22 at 7 p.m.
