Lakeland freshman Casey Klister, who wrestles at 133 pounds, has been named The Lake Michigan Conference Player of the Week for the first time in his career.
The DePere, Wis., native defeated Scott Sigmund of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, 8-4, to improve his record to 4-1 in his rookie campaign. The Muskies ended up dropping the dual against UW-Whitewater, 25-10.
