Sara Langenhorst scored 16 of her 18 points in the second half as Lakeland held off Milwaukee School of Engineering, 63-46, in the first round of the Lake Michigan Conference tournament on Friday night.
Renee Steinert finished with 16 points and 14 rebounds, and Brenda Paulson added 11 points for Lakeland.
Lakeland led by nine at the half, but MSOE kept it close, pulling within four at one point. However, the Muskies were too much for the Raiders, and never let them get closer.

Lakeland’s win advances them into the second round of the tournament, where they will face Marian at home on Saturday at 7 p.m.
