The Lakeland Women's golf team finished the season today, participating in the Lake Michigan Conference Tournament.
The Muskies did not post a team score for the event, but two individuals did compete. Monica Hetzel finished in 17th place with a two day score of 263. Nolanie Nellessen also competed for the Muskies, shooting a two day total 283, good enough for 19th place.
This marks the end of the Muskies season. Coach Grzesk would like to thank all of the girls for participating over the season.
"The team showed a tremendous amount of improvement during the season" said Coach Grzesk. "We got better every time out and by the end of the year we felt we were competitive the rest of the teams in the LMC. We have two very good returning golfers in Monica (Hetzel) and Nolanie (Nellessen) and need to add some quality depth for next season.”
