Junior Nick Zeck
Lakeland College defensive lineman Nick Zeck shared the Illini-Badger Conference Defensive Player of the Week honors last week. This week he gets it all by himself.
Zeck, a junior from West Allis, had five solo tackles, including three sacks and a fourth tackle for loss, in Lakeland's regular season-ending win over Greenville. In a two-week stretch, Zeck had 10 solo tackles, including seven sacks, and five assists.
Lakeland completed the season 7-3 and won a share of the IBC championship at 6-1, the Muskies first league title since 1997.
