Grube Earns Student-Athlete of the Week Honor

Junior Shane Grube was honored with this week's Northern Athletics Conference Student-Athlete of the Week award for his efforts in last Friday's men's basketball game at UW-La Crosse.

Although the Muskies fell to the Eagles, 91-81, the 6-foot-3 guard had a breakout game, with team highs in points and rebounds with 17 and six respectively. Grube also knocked down five of his six shot attempts and went two for three from three-point range.

The performance put the Sheboygan native in a three-way tie with senior Tyrone Coleman and junior David Hoerres for first on the team in field-goal percentage at 50 percent and fourth in scoring with 9.0 points per game.
