Lakeland Takes 3 from Edgewood

The Lady Muskies Volleyball took the floor tonight, looking to start the Lake Michigan Conference season off right, taking on Edgewood College of Madison. The Muskies would jump out to and early lead, and would win the first game confidently, 30-13.

The Muskies would again continue to manhandle the Eagles of Edgewood, rolling to final game scores of 30-18 and 30-22 for their final two games. Edgewood was without their leading player, Angie Bleck, who was out with an illness.

Leading the way for the Muskies was Lana Neuman who compiled 41 assists, 8 digs, 3 kills, and 2 blocks. Also for the Muskies Leeann Hupfer added 14 kills, 2 blocks and 2 aces. Heather Heberlein added 8 kills.

The Muskies will next face off against St. Norbert College on Thursday, September 16th at Lakeland College. Junior Varsity starts at 5pm, Varsity starts at 7pm
