Renee SteinertMuskies senior forward Renee Steinert, a Howards Grove Native, was named Player of the Week by the Lake Michigan Conference today.
Steinert led the Muskies to two victories last week and recorded her first double-double of the season with an 11 point-11 rebound performance versus Beloit College on Tuesday. She followed up the performance with 24 points and 9 rebounds in a 59-53 victory over LMC foe Marian College on Saturday. For the week she averaged 17.5 points, 10.0 rebounds, 2.5 blocks, 1.5 assists and 1.5 steals per game while shooting 53.8% (14-for-26) from the field.
The Muskies continue their conference play this week, as they travel to Concordia University in Mequon on Tuesday at 7pm and then return home to face Edgewood College on Saturday, December 11th. Game time is set for 1pm.
