Sara LangenhorstSenior Sara Langenhorst earned the LMC Player of the Week honor this week, in the final week of the award for the 2004-2005 season.
Langenhorst, a guard from Ripon, led the Muskies to a trio of victories last week and helped get Lakeland into Saturday night’s LMC Tournament Championship. For the week she averaged 23.0 points, 4.7 rebounds and 1.3 assists. Langenhorst shot over 60 percent from the field (26-of-43) and over 55 percent from 3-point land (10-of-18).
In an 84-59 win at Alverno, she scored 30 points which included a 4-of-5 performance from beyond the arc. On Friday in the LMC Tournament quarterfinals against MSOE, Langenhorst scored 18 on 6-of-12 shooting. Langenhorst scored 21 points and snagged seven rebounds in a 59-44 win over Marian in the semifinals on Saturday.
