Nick Zeck
Senior Nick Zeck earned the LMC men's basketball Player of the Week honor for the second straight week and for the third time this season. Zeck has earned five Player of the Week honors this year - three in basketball and two in football.
Zeck, a center from West Allis, recorded his third, fourth and fifth straight double-doubles as he closed out his Lakeland basketball career last week. For the week he averaged 20.7 points and 14.6 rebounds per game while shooting 56.5 percent (26-of-46).
In a 72-68 win at Northland Baptist, Zeck had 16 points and 19 rebounds. In a 72-59 victory over Marian in the LMC Tournament quarterfinals, Zeck scored 21 points and pulled down 13 boards. Zeck then closed out the season in an 85-81 loss at Edgewood in the semifinals, where he scored Lakeland's first 12 points of the game. He finished the game with 25 points on 11-of-16 shooting and grabbed 12 rebounds.
