Fans of the Lakeland women's basketball team are asked to wear white in an effort to create a "white-out" effect at Moose & Dona Woltzen Gymnasium at this Wednesday's game against Alverno at 7 p.m.
The Muskies, who are seeded third, host the No. 6 Inferno in the quarterfinals of the Northern Athletics Conference Tournament.
The effort is part of a project for classes taught by sports & fitness studies instructor April Arvan. Participants have several chances to collect prizes throughout the contest.
Lakeland (19-6) is aiming for the program's sixth appearance in the NCAA Division III Tournament. The most recent bid came in the 2005-06 season.
