LA CROSSE, Wis. - Senior Isaac Roberson finished off his collegiate wrestling career as a National qualifier as he came up short losing both of his matches in day one of the NCAA Division III Nationals at the La Crosse Center in La Crosse, Wis.

The 157-pound grappler drew a tough first-round match as he faced the No. 3 seed, Carrington Banks of the No. 1 ranked Wartburg College. Roberson (Chicago, Ill.) lost in a 17-7 major decision. In the second-round he suffered a heartbreaking 3-1 setback to Eduardo Delgado of Hunter as Delgado earned a last second takedown to win the match.

Roberson became Lakeland's fifth wrestler to compete at Nationals and ends his Muskie career in style. He finished the season with 23-5 record including earning numerous tournament championships. He broke the program's takedown record and was the second grappler in school history to earn the Northern Wrestling Association's Wrestler of the Year.
