The Lakeland women's golf team has been picked sixth by Northern Athletics Conference coaches in the NAC preseason coaches' poll.
The Muskies received 14 points. Lakeland placed sixth at the 2009 NAC Championships, and senior Nikki Commons (Bonduel, Wis.) became the first player in NAC history to receive All-NAC honors four years in a row.
Concordia, Wis., was picked to repeat as the conference's champion, receiving 48 points and six first-place votes.
The Muskies open their 2010 season Sept. 5 against Marian University. The NAC championship is Oct. 3 at the Glen Erin GC in Janesville, Wis.
