Regal named NAC player of the week

Josh Regal, a junior from Suring, Wis., was named the Northern Athletics Conference's Player of the Week.
Regal garners the award after posting a career-high 31 points against Rockford College on Jan. 8, which helped Lakeland secure its first win over Rockford in two seasons. He also added nine assists and six rebounds.
The 5-foot-10 guard averaged 18.3 points per game, 6.7 assists and shot nearly 70 percent from the field in Lakeland's three games from Jan. 3-9. Regal posted 18 points on Jan. 3 against Finlandia University in Hancock, Mich., and has played a big role in the Muskies' three-game win streak.
Regal leads the team in assists (57), rebounds per game (4.4), 3-point percentage (.429) and is second on the team in scoring (12.6).
Regal and the Muskies look to secure their fourth straight win as they take on Marian University on Jan. 12 at the Moose and Dona Woltzen Gymnasium. Tip-off is slated for 7 p.m.
