Junior Jake Schwarz scored a game-high 28 points and grabbed six rebounds to lead the Lakeland College men's basketball team to a 94-65 victory over Maranatha Baptist Bible College in Northern Athletics Conference action Thursday night. 
With the win, the Muskies (14-4, 8-2) return to the top of the NAC North Division and are back to a three-way tie with Concordia University Wisconsin (13-4, 9-2 NAC) and Edgewood College (14-4, 8-2 NAC).
Maranatha hit two 3-pointers to start the game and took a four-point advantage over Lakeland, its first and only lead of the game. The Muskies went on a 35-20 run behind 53.1 percent shooting from the field to take an 18-point, 48-30 lead at half.
Lakeland pushed its lead to 22 points in the opening minutes of the second half, but the Crusaders battled back to cut the lead to 13 points at the 9:57 mark. The Muskies, who are 10th in the nation in 3-point field goals made per game (9.6), hit 16 3-pointers in the game for the season sweep of Maranatha.
Senior Josh Regal dished out six assists to become second all-time in career assists (466). He finished the night with 12 points and two rebounds.
Sophomore Justin Ward scored 16 points on 6-for-12 shooting and recorded three blocks, while sophomore James Oshkeshequoam chipped in with 11 points.

Lakeland returns to NAC action on Saturday as they host the Milwaukee School of Engineering in a 4:15 p.m. tip in the Moose and Dona Woltzen Gymnasium.
