This Week in Men's Basketball

The Lakeland College men's basketball team returns to non-conference action this Saturday as it hits the road to take on the Lakers of Silver Lake College in Manitowoc, Wis.

The Muskies are coming of a 1-1 week in Northern Athletics Conference action and have fallen into third place in the North Division. The team suffered its first NAC loss against undefeated Edgewood College on Dec. 7, but bounced back in a 94-72 win over Concordia University Chicago on Dec. 10.

Junior Jake Schwarz and sophomore James Oshkeshequoam combined for 51 points in the Dec. 10 win, including a career-high 25 points from Oshkeshequoam. Schwarz leads the NAC in scoring (25.8 ppg) and ranks third in field goal percentage (60.0). Sophomore forward Justin Ward ranks third in 3-point percentage (58.8).

Last year, Lakeland recorded a 95-81 win over Silver Lake in the team's season opener. Senior Jack Ridgway led the team with 22 points.
