This week, the Lakeland College women's basketball team plays three games in five days, including back-to-back non-conference contests against Northland College and Finlandia University, before resuming conference play on Saturday, Jan. 7, against Rockford College.

The Muskies participated in the Daytona Beach Shootout in Daytona Beach, Fla., over winter break and went 2-0. They defeated Hamline University, 67-48, on Dec. 20 and defeated Pacific University on Dec. 21, 66-55.

For the tournament, the Muskies averaged 66.5 points per game, shooting 44 percent from the field, 40 percent from the 3-point line and 59 percent from the free throw line. They also averaged 38 rebounds per game and totaled 16 steals in the two games.
