After an 11th-place finish in a highly competitive Matman Invitational, the Lakeland College wrestling team returns to the mats on Saturday at the Border Brawl in Whitewater, Wis.

The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, ranked No. 18 in the nation, hosts the Rocky Rococo Border Brawl Duals. No. 9 Elmhurst College, No. 10 Olivet College, No. 17 University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, No. 28 University of Wisconsin- Stevens Point, University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, Simpson College and Trine University are among the field.

Junior Ryan Renon led the grapplers at the Matman Invite on Jan. 14 with a fifth-place finish at the 165-pound weight class. Renon ended the day with a 4-2 record, including two pin falls and his sixth technical fall of the year. In last week's NCAA Division III statistical report, Renon ranked third in tech falls (five), while freshman David Galarno (174) ranked 10th in pin falls (seven).
