The Lakeland College men's basketball team returns to Northern Athletics Conference action this week with three games, including hosting Concordia University Wisconsin in a battle for first place in the North Division tonight.


The Muskies (11-3, 5-1 NAC) have won their last five games and six of the last seven. Lakeland will look to extend its winning streak to eight by the end of the week, but will face a tough matchup against the Falcons (10-3, 6-1 NAC) tonight.


Lakeland hosts Wisconsin Lutheran College (2-12, 1-5 NAC) on Thursday and hits the road on Saturday to take on Aurora University (8-6, 4-2 NAC) in a cross division contest.


In the most recent NCAA Division III statistical report, Lakeland ranked 11th in scoring offense (87.6), fifth in 3-point field goals made per game (10.5) and 14th in assist-to-turnover ratio (1.29). Junior Jake Schwarz is the nation's third leading scorer (27.6), is fifth in 3-point field goal percentage (51.6) and is 24th in free throw percentage (89.0). Senior Josh Regal is sixth in the nation in assists per game (6.6), while sophomore Justin Ward is tied for 29th in blocks per game (2.0.)
