The Lakeland College men's basketball team moves further into Northern Athletics Conference play this week with two home games.
The 13-4 Muskies open the week on Thursday when they host Maranatha Baptist Bible College (2-10, 0-8 NAC) for the two team's second meeting of the season. Lakeland handed the Crusaders a 110-79 loss on Nov. 29, 2011, in Watertown.
On Saturday, the Muskies host Milwaukee School of Engineering (8-9, 6-3 NAC), which currently sits in first place in the NAC South Division and handed Edgewood College (14-3, 8-1 NAC) its only conference loss. The game against MSOE is part of a doubleheader with the women's team.
In a Jan. 19 statistical report released by the NCAA, Lakeland is ninth in scoring offense (87.4), 10th in assist-to-turnover ratio (1.34) and 3-point field goals made per game (9.8) and 30th in 3-point field goal percentage (39.0).
