The Muskies Take Ninth in Last Regular Season Event

The Lakeland Muskies finished in ninth place at the MSOE invitational on The Brute at Grand Geneva on Monday, October 10.

Sophomore Justin Goosen led the Muskies has he scored an 88 in the first round and a 79 in the second. Fellow sophomore Jake Bernetzke carded scores of 83 and 91, while Carlito Nazal finished his two rounds with a 90 and 95.

Head coach Jeff Nicholas said that he believes Lakeland has a change to place in 4th or 5th at the conference tournament on October 16 at Whistling Straits.

Other players scores for the Muskies: junior Matt Andrews scored a 95 and 98 and Josh Henschel carded a 95 and 90.

The Muskies will close out their season with at the LMC tournament this weekend, October 15 and 16 on The Irish Course at Whistling Straits in Sheboygan.
