Muskies continue active role in the community

Athletics - posted on 5/1/2012

The Lakeland College women's basketball team continued its efforts to reach out to the community as it joined several other Lakeland students in some post-storm clean-up on Saturday, April 21.

The Muskies, led be head coach Lindsey Vande Hoef, headed to the Kohler-Andrae State Park to clean up sand that had been blown into the parking lot.

They also picked up garbage and moved branches and limbs that had been knocked down by the storm.

The coaches and players understand the importance of helping the community and thanking them for the support they provide.
