Lakeland wrestlers lend a hand at area church

Lakeland College wrestlers help out at First Congregational Church of Christ in Sheboygan Lakeland College wrestlers lent a hand on Saturday, Sept. 8 at the First Congregational Church of Christ in Sheboygan, setting up tables and chairs for 180 people for a large dinner the church was hosting.

The work ties into the team's mission of volunteering their time to help with anything the community might need, said wrestling assistant coach Jose Quintana.

"Our main goal is to get our student-athletes involved in the community, and make the community aware of Lakeland College," Quintana said. "We are looking forward to establishing a solid relationship with the church, as well as anyone else in the community that needs our help. We are trying to make sure Sheboygan feels the presence of Lakeland College in the community."
