Peter Hahm
Head Coach
Peter Hahm enters his first season as the head track coach at Lakeland. He is also an assistant coach for the Lakeland football team, working primarily with the team's offensive linemen.
An Ixonia native, Hahm joins the Muskie coaching staff after serving for a year and a half as a graduate assistant at Southwest Minnesota State University, a Division II school in Marshall, Minn. While at Southwest, Hahm coached the tight ends, including a preseason All-American, and assisted with the offensive line. Prior to Southwest, Hahm was a student assistant for one year at Wisconsin Lutheran College, a school currently in the Northern Athletics Conference, where he was also a four-year starter at fullback. He received second team all-conference accolades in his junior season.
Hahm received his bachelor’s degree in 2006 from Wisconsin Lutheran College, where he majored in communication with a coaching minor. He received his master’s degree in education from Southwest Minnesota State University in 2008.
Hahm will instruct the course Theories & Techniques of Coaching Track & Field at Lakeland.
Hahm and his wife, Jenny, were married on June 14, 2008, and currently reside in Sheboygan.
