<p><b><font color="006699">Muskie Men Fall In First Round Of Holiday Tournament</font><br>
  Dec. 27, 2003</b><br>
  The Lakeland College Men's Basketball Team won't be repeat champions of the 
  Clarke College Holiday Tournament. Unfortunately, the Muskies fell to an outstanding 
  Siena Heights (MI) team 80-69 on Saturday in Dubuque, Iowa. </p>
<p>Lakeland battled the #4 ranked NAIA team in the country for most of the game, 
  but the Muskies couldn't overcome a poor shooting night. Lakeland managed just 
  30.8 percent for the game from the floor.</p>
<p>Cory Nickel led Lakeland with 17 points and chipped in with 8 rebounds, while 
  Morton Szmiedowicz added 11 points and 10 rebounds. Greg McPherson and Jason 
  Rennie each scored 17 points for Siena Heights, who moved to 12-1 on the season. 
  Lakeland dropped to 4-7.</p>
<p>The Muskies will now play against Purdue North Central, who lost 81-74 to Clarke 
  College in the opening round. Tip-off is scheduled for 11:30am on Monday. <br>
