Lakeland Avenges Early Season Loss Against Edgewood

Hot shooting and tough defense allowed the Lakeland College Men's Basketball Team to comeback from a halftime deficit to beat the visiting Edgewood Eagles, 70-66.

Cory Nickel led all scorers with 23 points. He also grabbed seven rebounds on the day. Nick Zeck tallied a double-double with 19 points and 15 boards, and Nick Howard scored 17 points.

The Muskies trailed by two at the break, but shot 62.5 percent from the field in the second half to overpower the Eagles.

The Muskies got back to .500 overall with the win at 10-10, and did even more for themselves by improving their conference record to 5-3.
