Brett Kaczmarek (Jr.-Kenosha, Wis.) delivered 21 kills and the Lakeland College men's volleyball team took care of UW-Platteville for a win in four sets Wednesday night at Woltzen Gymnasium.
The Muskies owned the first two sets before a slip in the third set, then toughed out the fourth set for a 25-14, 25-18, 22-25, 25-22 win. Lakeland improved to 8-5 overall and is now 6-2 in the Wisconsin Volleyball Conference.
Kaczmarek posted a .326 attack percentage, with 21 kills and seven errors in 43 attempts. He also added eight digs and two assisted blocks.
Alec Redlich (So.-Wauwatosa, Wis.) warmed up as the match went on and added 14 kills as well as 11 digs. Cole Aiazzi (So.-Yerington, Nev.) recorded 16 digs from the libero spot and Dayton Erickson (So.-Trevor, Wis.) led the team with 44 assists.
The Muskies return to action in a week when they hit the road to face UW-Whitewater on Wednesday in Whitewater at 7 p.m.
