Lakeland Loses Overtime Thriller to UW-River Falls

Despite amazing performances from Aubri Rote and Renee Steinert, the Lakeland College Women's Basketball Team was unable to stop the overtime sharp shooting of UW-River Falls in a 69-72 thriller.
River Falls hit all three of their three point shots in overtime and five of their six free throws to outscore the Muskies 14-11 in the extra frame.
Rote scored a personal and team season highs with 33 points and Steinert scored a double-double with 23 points and 12 rebounds.
Darcy Olsen led the Falcons with 20 points. Four other Falcons scored in double-digits.
Lakeland, who led 33-30 at the half, suffered from a 28.6 field goal percentage in the second half in a game that could've gone either way.
The loss dropped the Muskies to 9-5 and improved the Falcons' record to 10-5.
