Ways To Give

Individuals, corporations, and foundations support the college through a variety of charitable gifts. Each gift, helps to deliver the promise of a Lakeland College education to our students of today and tomorrow.

To support the most pressing needs of the college, donors annually make gifts of cash, checks, credit cards, securities, stock, real estate, and personal property. Most often these gifts are directed to The Annual Fund for Excellence that provides support for: 

• Student scholarships
• Faculty salaries and professional development
• Academic and extracurricular programs
• Campus Maintenance

In addition, an increasing number of alumni and friends who believe in the importance of providing for the college's future have made estate gifts. These gifts include bequests and life-income vehicles such as charitable annuities and charitable remainder unitrusts. Most estate gifts are designated for the college's permanent endowment.

Lakeland College also receives gifts directed to enhancing existing programs and facilities. Donors support Lakeland College through the donation of gifts-in-kind.
