Beth Borgen, Lakeland College's Director of Alumni Relations, will become Lakeland's Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations on July 1.
Beth joined Lakeland's staff in the fall of 2005 as Assistant Director of Alumni Relations, and she was promoted to Director in March of 2006.
She has been instrumental in significantly increasing the number of alumni events and a variety of new programs which has cultivated new donors and increased the amount of giving. She recruits and directs the volunteer committee that organizes and solicits funds for the annual Blasters golf tournament, and she organizes monthly 1862 Society events. She was also instrumental in planning the naming ceremony and celebration of Brotz Hall.
"Beth has done a fabulous job in expanding our alumni relations program in anticipation of our sesquicentennial celebration in 2012," said James Cape, Vice President of Advancement. "I know that she will bring to her new role in corporate and foundation fundraising the same creativity and enthusiasm that marked her highly successful two year tenure in our alumni office."
Beth graduated from St. Norbert College in 2001. Prior to joining Lakeland's staff she coordinated special events at St. Norbert's F.K. Bemis Conference Center.
A search for Lakeland's new Director of Alumni Relations will begin immediately.

Beth Borgen, Lakeland College's Director of Alumni Relations, will become Lakeland's Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations on July 1. Beth joined Lakeland's staff in the fall of 2005 as Assistant Director of Alumni Relations, and she was promoted to Director in March of 2006.
