Lakeland College

Lakeland College is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCA). Institutions of higher education must engage in periodic external evaluations in order to maintain their accreditation. Lakeland College's last comprehensive evaluation took place in 2009. Following that visit, upon the recommendation of the visiting team, the College received a ten-year reaffirmation of accreditation. In March, 2013 the visiting team reviewed evidence of assessment and support for graduate programs and personnel qualifications. The visiting team recommended continued accreditation, with the next reaffirmation of accreditation visit scheduled for 2019.

Lakeland College invites comments from the public about the college in advance of our 2019 comprehensive evaluation. Public comment can be provided at the website of the Higher Learning Commission.
