Nearly 500 million people around the globe speak Spanish. Are you one of them? Would you like to be? Perhaps you studied Spanish throughout high school, and wish to master the world’s second-most widely used language (behind only Mandarin Chinese) while immersing yourself into the culture. Or maybe you’ve never spoken a word of Spanish in your life, but realize that learning it now will give you a huge edge in our fast-changing business world. Either way, we’ve got you covered.
Make your resume stand out
Whether you want to major exclusively in Spanish, incorporate it into a double major, make it your minor or just add this important language to your academic portfolio, we can help.
“Many of our students go on to teach Spanish,” says Elizabeth K. Fronczak, Spanish instructor. “And a lot of our majors are, of course, coupled with another major. Obviously, that makes your resume stand out from the rest."
“My goal is to really encourage students to travel and even live abroad,” says Fronczak. “Students who make that commitment return as different people, people with a much better understanding of themselves, others and the world. To me, that’s so satisfying, because it goes far beyond just teaching them grammar. When they return, they’ve learned in so many ways they never could have imagined.”
