Nathan Dehne oversees Lakeland's athletic department
Dehne joined Lakeland as director of admissions, and during his time in this role, he worked collaboratively with other offices to revamp the recruitment process. This led to the highest new student enrollment numbers in Lakeland's history.
Prior to joining Lakeland, Dehne served in various roles in the office of admissions at Carroll University. These positions included admissions counselor and telecommunications coordinator, athletic recruitment liaison and assistant director of admissions before moving to his last post at Carroll, associate director of admissions. In his time at Carroll, the college experienced tremendous enrollment growth.
Dehne is involved in numerous state, regional and national higher education organizations. A native of neighboring Howards Grove, he holds a Master of Arts in counseling with a higher education emphasis from Lakeland. He has a Bachelor of Science in English and communications from Carroll. Nate resides in Howards Grove with his wife Melissa, and their three kids, Ben, Emma and Sam.
