- ABOUT LAKELAND

When a desired library resource is not available in one of our research databases, or in EasiCat our online catalog, consider requesting the item through inter-library loan. Library staff will request the item(s) from libraries outside of our library system.
Our inter-library loan service is available to all individuals currently attending or working at Lakeland College. Many electronic article requests can be fulfilled within one or two business days; although some books and difficult items may take up to 2 weeks to fill. Some items are simply unavailable for loan. You will be notified if an item is unavailable. If you'd like to check on the status of your item, you can email Joe Pirillo, the ILL librarian: pirillojm@lakeland.edu
Before requesting an article, try our new research tool, EBSCO A-Z. Enter the title of the magazine, journal or newspaper to see if that title is available in full-text (complete articles) in any of Lakeland's databases.
In the article citation below, the title of the publication is, "Library Journal."
