Lakeland Science Students Appearing on PBS Program

A class of Lakeland College biology students will be featured on the PBS program "Outdoor Wisconsin" on Thursday, April 27, at 8 p.m. on Milwaukee Public Television Channel 10.
 
The segment of the program is entitled "Co-existing with Animals" and features Jean Lord, a Lakeland adjunct instructor who also runs the Pineview Wildlife Rehabilitation Center, in a piece about the need to educate people on special wildlife behavior and the need to co-exist with animals. Channel 10 visited Lakeland's campus and Lord's class last fall and filmed Lakeland students participating in a lab involving injured animals.
 
The program will be repeated on Saturday, April 29, at 9 a.m.
