Academics - posted on 10/27/2006
Eric Larsen, a history-making explorer that came to Lakeland's campus on Nov. 24, has made note of his visit on his website,
www.ericlarsenexplore.com. In addition to giving a public lecture, Larsen visited a freshman studies class of Meg Albrinck, assistant professor of literature and writing. Larsen, a Wisconsin native, became one of two people earlier this year to become the first people in the world to travel to the North Pole in summer.
