It's Spring...I hope!

It’s 65 degrees outside and I could not be happier!!!  Spring has sprung…I hope!?!

On the iPod right now

Someone recently e-mailed me and asked if these songs are really on my iPod, and I can truthfully say, yes…I like a lot of different types of music.  It is great getting my kids into the music that I used to listen to.  I have a feeling that it will be short lived however as I am sure the “oldies” that dad listens to will begin to become “un-cool”.

Students in the Lakeland Class of 2011 continue to send in their Intent to Enroll forms and have begun to set appointments to register for classes.  It is a great time as an admissions professional as the students and families we have worked with begin to confirm their plans to attend Lakeland .  After more than 12 years of working in admissions, this time of year is still very exciting.  If you are a senior who has yet to make a decision, let me know how I can help!

It is spring break this week and things are very quiet here...too quiet!  My wife’s cousin in a freshman here at Lakeland, and she is traveling with the Women’s Basketball Team to Europe this week!!!  I am anxious for her to get back and tell us all about the trip.  

I think that is all for me!  I am off to make some phone calls to all of you.  I also need to fill out my NCAA Tourney Bracket…any suggestions would be appreciated!!!
