Annual Mosaic Concert at Lakeland on Feb. 21

Students enrolled in classes and programs in Lakeland College's Creative Arts Division will display their various talents on Thursday, Feb. 21, at the college's annual Mosaic Concert.

The concert allows students and faculty members from each of the departments within the Creative Arts Division an opportunity to perform or show their work. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. in the Bradley Theatre on Lakeland's Sheboygan County campus. It is free and open to the public.

Thursday's concert includes:

  • The public debut of Lakeland's new debate team. Allyssa Ourada, Jeremy Cain, Kaitlin Deschane and Dustin Long will discuss "The Art and the Profession: A Public Debate."
  • A documentary-style video made in Sheboygan entitled "Fixing Sheboygan" by Tyler Holman.
  • Readings of original poetry by Jake Belknap, Veronica Lau, Joshua Leisemann, Sean Gilligan and Nate Baake.
  • Several music performances, including Lakeland's Frauenchor, a piano duet by Yuka Komano and Thomas Pibal and the college's Jazz Ensemble.
  • A Theatre Department light show set to Vangelis' "Chariots of Fire."
