CN760.Y1  Contemporary Topics: Issues in Counseling Youth
2 credits, 7 weeks, November 20 - January 15

Location:  Chippewa Valley Center

Time: Tuesday, 6:00 - 9:00 pm

Description: Counselors, teachers and others who work with youth will investigate current issues which affect youth of all ages of today. Issues include: youth suicide, delinquency, substance use, dropouts, teen pregnancy and others. Students will also research their own areas of interest centered around 'at risk' and developmental issues of children of today. Prevention and intervention will be addressed.

NOTE: This class is BlendEd - Students have an option each week of meeting in the classroom or meeting online.
