Homecoming is one of the staple traditions on many college campuses, and Lakeland is certainly no exception! Last year was the first time in history that alumni have had the opportunity enjoy a three-day extravaganza of fun and entertainment at LC. This year, that tradition continues. By now you should have received your brochure in the mail, featuring Prof. Schilcutt on the cover in all of his glory! Everyone on campus is (almost) as excited for Homecoming as he is.
Not sure if Homecoming is for you? Well wonder no more. There truly is something for everyone! Bring your kids, your buddies, your spouse, parents, anyone you want - just get here. Events throughout the weekend will include a chance to go Back to School, a Friday Night Fever party in the Pub, a Super 70s Costume Contest, and all of the usual Homecoming festivities like the Homecoming Run, a tailgate shindig in the parking lot, the Alumni Awards & Reunion Banquet, and a Service of Worship & Remembrance. With so much happening at Lakeland College, how could you even think about missing it? The best part is that it is almost all of the weekend events are completely free for you and your guests.
If you have not yet received your brochure, it is not too late to register. You can visit the Homecoming section of the website and click "Register for the Homecoming Celebration" to sign up yourself and your guests. Come for one event, or stay for all of them.
