Learn about the Lakeland College coaching staff.
June 24-26, 2013 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
This camp is for athletes who are just learning the skills necessary to participate in football in a
competitive manner. It will focus on techniques and fundamentals for all positions. There will be
offensive and defensive sessions to give campers exposure to positions on each side of the ball.
Instruction will also be given in punting and kicking. Basic fundamentals will be the focus of this camp.
In addition to on-the-field training campers will be introduced to basic weight training techniques, introductory film study, team- and chemistry-building and other fun activities. Overnight campers will need to provide their own bedding, pillow, toiletries, towel, alarm clock and fan.
June 27-28, 2013 9 a.m. to Noon
This camp is specially designed to introduce young athletes to the game of football. The basics of
football will be taught. This session will present the game of football in a fun and interesting way. The
athletes will learn the basic concepts of the game through competitions and games. This is a great
way to expose young players to the game of football and prepare them for a successful experience.
Each camper must have their own medical insurance. Lakeland College will not be responsible for any medical or dental insurance. A medical release statement must be signed by a parent or guardian before a camper is allowed to participate in the Lakeland College Fundamental Football Camp. Camper health and protection is our first and foremost concern, however, there are dangers inherent in participating in any sports activity. An athletic trainer will be present while the camp is in session.
