The Lakeland women’s basketball team could not overcome their cold shooting night and costly mistakes down the stretch in a 70-60 loss to Benedictine on Saturday.

Sara Langenhorst scored a team high 17 points for the Muskies on 6 of 15 shooting, and Beth Porter poured in 10. Renee Steinert struggled inside against the Eagles, but still managed to grab 10 rebounds.
Amanda Burditt was one rebound shy of a double-double, scoring 19 points and bringing down nine boards for Benedictine.
The Muskies host Beloit on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
